It is proposed to hold a competition open to eligible administration staff from the Education and Trainer Sector Candidate Pool (ETBs and IOTs) for the post of:

Letterkenny Student Union offers a service for all full time students attending LYIT. The Student Union team is comprised of 3 full time officers who are elected each year to their positions.  The Student Union Administrator works with the Student Services Officer in providing the students with a satisfactory service to their many concerns and requirements.

The Students’ Union at Letterkenny Institute of Technology invites applications from suitably qualified people for the following position:

Student Union Administrator (Permanent whole-time)

The successful applicant will possess a degree in Business Administration/Marketing at honours level (level 8) or a relevant equivalent. The successful applicant will require substantial experience in business applications and be familiar with accounts software. The successful applicant must be equipped to oversee the running of a busy student programme that will require a knowledge of student activities.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 3 years full time work experience in an environment that proves relevant to this position.  Short listing of applicants will be a part of the application process followed by a selection board to assess suitability of the final short-listed canditates.

Remuneration: €29,617 - €43,889.

(This is analogous to a Grade IV for pay purposes only).
