    If you’d like to strengthen your knowledge and experience of business and marketing following your ordinary degree, then this honours degree is the course for you. The focus at this level is at developing a much more strategic perspective on the world of business and marketing and understanding the interrelationships between marketing and other business functions.
    Following completion of both Bachelor of Business ordinary and honours degree in Marketing graduates will have accumulated a very strong skillset in marketing tools and techniques built around three key themes:

    On successful completion of the Bachelor of Business in Marketing the learner will have achieved the following learning outcomes. They will have:
    • Critically appraise the fundamental role that marketing plays in integrating the customer into the business functions.
    • Describe strategic marketing practices including contemporary advances in the area of marketing.
    • Demonstrate mastery of marketing research using and modifying modern marketing research practices to conduct closely guided research.
    • Exercise appropriate judgement in a number of complex scenarios at a global level, remaining cognisant of human resource implications and practices, while managing the customer experience.
    • Use advanced skills to conduct advanced technical activity in the area of strategic marketing planning, accepting accountability for all related decision making; transfer and apply creative skills in a range of contexts.
    • Act effectively under guidance in a peer relationship with clients and commercial businesses, leading and acting as an effective team member.
    • Learn to act in a variety of unfamiliar learning contexts.
    • Express a comprehensive, internalised, personal world view of marketing, manifesting solidarity with others.
